The Daughter or Mother prologue introduces Lucas and Claire as an adult couple travelling together. Their holiday begins with familiar romantic expectations, but the arrival of Claire’s mother gives the trip a different center of gravity.
The scenes below follow only the verified setup. They establish the resort, Victoria’s entrance and the first change in the group dynamic without revealing what happens in later ComicRush episodes.
Lucas and Claire begin the trip together
The prologue opens with the couple travelling toward their holiday destination. Their private plans establish the relationship that Victoria’s arrival will soon complicate.
The resort creates distance from ordinary life
The airport and tropical setting move Lucas and Claire into a holiday atmosphere where routines are suspended. That sense of escape makes the unexpected third guest more consequential.
Claire welcomes her mother, Victoria
Claire greets Victoria warmly when she joins the trip. The family reunion is friendly, but it also turns what Lucas expected to be a couple’s getaway into a shared holiday.
